Welcome back to the podcast! Today, I’m joined by the lovely Samantha Penfold, co-owner of the beautiful Planta Bistrot in Forum. Samantha has called Marbella home since she was just three years old, when her parents moved here for the incredible lifestyle. With an Irish mother and a British father she grew up with a mix of cultures and ambition.
She studied business, law, economics, and languages abroad before returning to Marbella, but ended up working in interior design for a decade, until she pursued a lifelong dream—opening her first restaurant, Organic Market & Food, that was a huge success. Later, she founded Keto Royale, Spain’s first keto restaurant, driven by her own journey with diabetes. Now, with her latest venture, Planta Bistrot and soon to be opened Planta Market, she continues to redefine healthy dining in Marbella. Join us as we talk about life, business, and the secrets to her success.
