Today’s guest is the incredible Dr. Veronika Sumbera. Born in Mexico to a Czech father and a Mexican mother, she’s been calling Marbella home for the past four years. Veronika’s journey started in dentistry, studying and practicing across Mexico, Europe, and California. But life took a dramatic turn when she faced a near-death experience that left her in a wheelchair. Doctors told her she would never walk again—yet today, she’s perfectly healthy. Her remarkable recovery fuels her passion to help others heal, too. In this episode, we discuss everything from the American lifestyle and medical system to yoga, wellness, and the steps she took to defy all odds and heal.
Get ready to be inspired—I know you’ll love this conversation as much as I did!
About Veronika
With a deep passion for health and wellness, I bring a unique, holistic approach grounded in personal and professional experience. As an internationally recognized dentist in Mexico, Spain, and Italy, I grew up in a family devoted to holistic and functional medicine. My parents, a pediatrician and a gynecologist, were pioneers in integrating Western and Eastern medicine with indigenous healing wisdom and acupuncture. Building on this foundation, I furthered my journey by completing a Master of Yoga at the International Sivananda V edanta Center in India, and training as a Whole Health Educator TM and Wellness CoachTM at the National Institute of Whole Health in the USA. My mission is to help you live a life fully oriented toward health and balance.
