If you missed my blog post about how my lifestyle has changed after becoming a mother, then click here to read it. But basically I spoke about how I have become so much more aware of the toxins and harmful chemicals in our lives, specifically in our daily household products and cosmetics. So besides the universal cleaner I use (recipe here) I’ve also made my own toxic free deodorant, toothpaste and a simple hand soap! You must remember that the deodorant is not a anti perspirant, but it works to cover up any bad stinks that come from there!
I hope to continue my journey towards a more sustainable, eco friendly lifestyle and also my target is to try and reduce the use and waste of plastic and by making your own products, you can definitely do so, plus is healthier for you, for your family, for the world and for your wallet! If you’re wondering where to buy the ingredients, then I found most of them from amazon and here are the links to them:
- Vegetable glycerin 1L €12.99
- Witch Hazel 473ml €16.41
- White vinegar
- Castile Soap 5kg €32.09
