Whenever I have some friends over, they always ask recommendations for breakfast and lunch, so I decided to write a blog post about it, so next time I'll just send them the link, so they can choose from my favorite healthy/organic cafes in Marbella. They are not all organic neither vegan, but they all have options for health freaks as well as naughty options if you're not counting calories or if you're not vegan/vegetarian etc. It's hard to name which one is number one for me, so I would have to say I will just list my top 3 first, but the rest really don't have an order - they're all great and different and they're all located in different areas, so depending on your address, everyone can pick their own favorite! Here are the first 5 and I will be posting the rest very soon. Watch this space!
Dezentral
Dezentral is definitely one of my top 3 places for breakfast and lunch (as they don’t open for dinner). It has a cool vibe and the most amazing lunch specials. Some of my favourites there include the Beetroot Heaven, which is like a beetroot guacamole served on dark bread and I also love their curries as well as the banana breads and cinnamon rolls. As for drinks, I always order Coffee with Ginger (yes with fresh ginger, yum!) and the Melonade!

Celicioso
Celicioso, located in the 5 Star Hotel Puente Romano, is Marbella first gluten-free restaurant/cafe. Here, business executives rub shoulders with beach-fresh friends meeting for sweet treats. You can start your day with pastries and zingy fruit shots or meet up in the evening with a glass of chilled Champagne. I love Celicioso for breakfast and lunch and also it has the most amazing cupcakes (gluten free & sugar free options as well) and they also offer divine cakes!

Rosas Cafe
Rosas is another favourite cafe of mine - especially on Sundays, as a lot of the places close on Sundays (Dezentral for example). I love their Eggs Benedict and Avocado Toast as well as their amazing French pastries and yummy coffees! P.S. Try also their veggie burger - it’s delicious!
Address: Entrance of Puerto Banus, opposite Open Cor/Playas Del Duque

Lagom
Lagom is also located in Puente Romano Hotel, but in their Tennis Club, a bit further down towards the beach. Since it’s hidden’ in the Tennis Club building, it’s never full and it has a nice sunny terrace and a great view of the tennis and paddle courts. One of my favourites to order here is the Avocado Toast, but to be honest everything tastes amazing here and I love the branded coffees (Chanel, Louis Vuitton etc) they serve! And the good news is that they’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Rachel’s
There are two Rachel’s Eco Love Cafes in Marbella - one inside Puente Romano Hotel (by the pool) and one in El Corte Ingles in Puerto Banus. And in the summer they have a super cute Ice Cream Corner next to Sea Grill Restaurant (in Puente Romano). They offer organic, raw, vegan and vegetarian food, amazing smoothie bowls and more!
