When you have a baby, having a baby monitor is a must! But which one to choose is the question.. I got the Lollipop Baby Camera that not only looks super cute, but it’s become a real life saver, especially during daytime naps, as she still sleeps in our bedroom at night. So here are my top 5 reasons why I love this camera so much!
1. Practical & cute design
First of all it looks super cool, but it’s also very functional. It’s made of premium, baby-safe silicone and the end of the lollipop bends easily, meaning setting up the Lollipop is easy breezy! You can either secure it to baby crib, attach it to the wall or stand it up on a flat surface.

The infrared LED lens gives you a really clear view during the night, which is so important when you’re having dinner and your baby is asleep in their room. The camera can also tell the difference between ambient noises like wind and when your child is crying. So you won’t receive unnecessary notifications. Also the noise level when you get notified is adjustable. I love having the Live view on with sound - so I can hear everything that goes on the room.
3. Be a DJ for your baby
Through the camera you can play music to your baby as well as turn on some ambient sounds like ‘waves’ or ‘ white noise’. Amanda loves the Chopin 10 and I love it too. You can also talk to the baby via the camera! Doesn’t get much better than that!

I was confused of the meaning of these two, but it’s quite an incredible feature for a baby camera! Basically the Lollipop saves a 30-second video (during a week) of significant events such as crying or environmental alerts. This means if anything unusual happens, you can go back and review. Data history on the other hand means that if your baby always fusses at the same time of the day you can start noticing patterns during their sleep. It could be the neighbour’s dog that is barking in the evening that wakes up your baby! The longer you use the Lollipop, the more you’ll learn.
