My two favorite restaurants in Cordoba

We dined at two restaurants that were amazing and they both belonged to one group of restaurants - Grupo Sojo. Horno San Luis is right next to the Mezquita. And we probably wouldn't have walked in there ourselves, but thankfully one of my friends hadn't recommend it beforehand. Horno San Luis has been transformed from one of the oldest bakeries in Cordoba’s Old Town into a stunning modern yet cozy restaurant with a rooftop for cocktails. The food was incredible and the prices were very reasonable! I recommend to definitely try the Croquettes, Tempura Prawn Salad and the Oxtail Pad Thai! Great option for lunch, but why not also for dinner.

Since we loved the food so much, we searched for the group’s other venues and found Sojo Fusion - so we booked our last dinner in Cordoba here. Fusión by Sojo is a restaurant concept that combines traditional market cuisine with innovative flourishes in an incomparable environment very close to the Plaza del Potro, Mezquita, Judería, and the banks of the Guadalquivir. We were seated in a lovely almost private room with a stunning bodega. And again, the food did not disappoint! I especially enjoyed the Iberico Risotto and also the desserts were divine! P.S. They’re also open for breakfast & lunch!
