Malaga Christmas Lights Switch On 2018

Malaga is known across the country for its beautiful Christmas lights. Hundreds of locals and visitors come together to catch the first glimpse of the colourful decorations. The main Alameda avenue is decorated with thousands of white lights that run through the the city’s most famous trees, lining the way to the famous Marques de Larios roundabout. It is also important to remember a stroll down the Larios Street (Calle Larios),which glows with its own Christmas magic.The lights are switched on every evening over the Christmas period between 6.30pm and 2am. They’re turned off on 7 January 2019.

On Wednesday Dec. 5th 2018 from 12 noon to 18.00 the very first ‘Maiti Nepal Luxury Christmas Market’ will be held at Magna Café, Marbella.
Clear your closets of unwanted high-end fashion items for the enjoyment of Marbella’s more discerning bargain hunters. A stall/table at the market is FREE, but you’ll donate 25% of your sales to the non-profit organization, Maiti Nepal, dedicated to help the victims of sex trafficking (www.maitinepal.org).
