Situated in the stunning JW Marriott Marquis building, Miami Beaux Arts Hotel is the perfect hideaway for those who seek luxury and privacy in a perfect location during their stay in this coastal resort city in Florida. One of the best features of this 5* hotel is definitely the exclusivity of it - the private check in on the 39th floor and the fact that there only is 44 rooms in total. It also helps that the property sits near various shops and restaurants and overlooks the scenic Biscayne Bay. That is why I recommend to book the Bay View Executive King Room in order to enjoy the best views over Miami’s majestic skyline including the celebrity hotspot Fisher Island. As were only staying a few days before heading to Mexico, we chose the hotel because of it's uniqueness and I must say I always prefer to stay in an Autograph Collection hotel, since they really are exactly like nothing else!
Besides great views, the room features stylishly appointed design elements including entry doors with stamped metal inserts and artfully placed oversized frames. And did I mention the hi-tech features like your personal iPad (includes built in app for your room service, pillow menu, turn down service and other needs during your stay), Bang & Olufsen in-room entertainment system and automatic curtains in front of its floor-to-ceiling windows. As you unwind from the day in the spacious jacuzzi bath with Molton Brown toilettries, you can enjoy catching up with news via the bathroom TV with a waterproof remote. And as you tuck yourself into your king sized bed with exquisite Anichini linens, you will feel relaxed and pampered and miles away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Miami.
The amenities of the hotel are as impressive as the rooms - Mariano Bartolome Indoor Golf School, Enliven Salon and Spa, virtual bowling, and indoor basketball court as well as a large stainless-steel sky pool. And it doesn’t stop there, the dining options at Beaux Arts include the brand new Boulud Sud Restaurant offering divine Mediterranean cuisine, Met Café and Bar, serving international fare, Intermezzo coffee house and ThreeFortyFive are both open for breakfast. But the hotel breakfast is served at the L’Atelier that overlooks Biscayne Bay and the Miami River and it’s also the perfect place for that one last cocktail before heading back to your lavish room. Miami Beaux Arts of course features an array of great art throughout the hotel as well as the rooms and suites as well as an exhibit in the lobby area, so no wonder is was named to Conde Nast Traveler's Hot List and Travel + Leisure's It List and The World's Greatest Hotels. For me, this Downtown Miami boutique luxury hotel is definitely one to add to your Top Hotels in Miami list - innovative technology, contemporary design, intimate setting - this masterpiece offers exclusivity and first class service in the heart of Miami.
