When I was invited to the Exreme Blogging Day by El Corte Inglés, I could not have been more thrilled. This department store is one of my favourite shopping places in Marbella and to have the chance to experience their exciting changes first hand. The day began in the El Corte Inglés Marbella that is called El Capricho Shopping Center. It mainly offers decoration and furniture, but as we found out, their plan is to create the first Organic Shopping Centre in Marbella!
We started our tour at the stunning AM Design Flowers next to the entrance by Starbucks Coffee, which is a lovely Floral Design Workshop providing decoration services for weddings and other events. AM Flowers Design Marbella also provides a home delivery service and bouquets in the new trendy Flower Boxes aka Hatboxes that I adore.
As soon as you walk in to El Capricho El Corte Inglés Centre you can't miss the amazing furnishings and small showrooms they have set up. But not only do they offer a variety of home decór, furniture, carpets, lightings, accesories of the highest quality, they also offers a service of decorating your home or even office from the bottom to the top, until the very last detail, so you don't have to worry about anything. Their designers are at your service, ready to adapt your available space to the comfort of your home or work situation.
OWL Organic Market. Organic With Love After a small tour at the decoration area, we made our way upstairs to enjoy breakfast at the new cozy offers the best quality hand crafted food, made with love and passion. Their menu consists of health packed salads, paninis and club sandwiches, meal deals, a number of healthy breakfast choices, homemade cakes and you will also find gluten free and vegan options throughout their menu. We enjoyed a Kombucha drink to start our meal, which is often referred to as the "elixir of life", but it basically is a fermented, lightly effervescent sweetened black or green tea. Besides Kombucha we also enjoyed a Ginger Shot that I often also drink at home and has a lot of health benefits. As for the food, we were treated to an amazing yoghurt with home-made organic granola, followed by a delicious California Toast. You must try this breakfast - it will blow you away! As I am a fan of healthy organic food, I think it's such an amazing new addition to Marbella.
Besides healthy food, they also have an organic wear boutique there by Oxana Mess (who is also the owner and founder of OWL) for adults as well as for kids, made from the very best organic materials, free from chemicals and pesticides. And they also offer a small kids corner, plus they often organise different culinary classes for all ages. After the breakfast we made our way to the entrance, where our drivers were waiting for us to take us to the other El Corte Inglés Centre in Puerto Banus!
