Looking for things to do in Malaga? The Alcazaba fortress palace in Málaga is a beautiful historical place to visit. Built during the Muslim period in the early 11th century, the Alcazaba is the best-preserved Moorish fortress palace in Spain. It is built on a hill in the centre of the city, so you can enjoy stunning views of the port and the city. The Alcazaba has a distinct feel from its more famous, younger neighbours, the Alcazar of Sevilla and the Alhambra of Granada. But little did I know it was actually already three centuries old when the others were build.
