I love travelling with a passion. It’s the one thing you buy that makes you richer. I have travelled to Thailand, to the States and around numerous European countries but there is still so many other places I’d like to see and experience. 1. Bora Bora & Tahiti in French Polynesia
Bora Bora and Tahiti have been in my bucket list since I can remember. Whenever I see a photo of those shades of blue and green only one word comes to my mind - paradise. Did you know in ancient times the island was called "Pora pora mai te pora", meaning "created by the gods" in the local Tahitian dialect?
2. Cape Town, South Africa
I have a lovely colleague at work, who is from South- Africa and not only her but so many other people have recommended me to travel to this amazing city. So that’s really on top of my list. To see the landscape, the city, the beach, the sharks, the vineyards, the penguins.. shall I continue?
3. American road Trip
This is another childhood dream I have and I’m sure I will do it one day - from New York to LA all the way..
Not forgetting the Grand Canyon of course!
4. Caribbean Cruise
I could easily travel and live in the Caribbean for 6 months of the year, but if I have to realistic, the best way to see them all is a luxurious Caribbean cruise!
5. The Ice Igloo Hotel in the North Pole & Santa Claus
Even though I’m not the biggest fan of cold and snow, this amazing hotel in the North Pole, called Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, has the most amazing rooms. Well, their not really rooms - they are ice igloos with a glass roof, so you can admire the amazing northern lights! And whilst I’m in that area I would also do the 3 hour drive and visit Santa Claus himself in Lapland, Rovaniemi!
6. Greece and the islands
Even though I have been to Crete and it was amazing I would really like to visit Greece and see some other islands such as Mykonos, Santorini, Zakynthos and Rhodes to name a few. And there is a hotel in Rhodes, called Casa Cook that is a definite must when visiting that island!
7. Tuscany & Provence
If I could (and in my dreams anything is possible) i would travel first to Provence and then drive to Tuscany, just because I can’t choose between these two. And they both make me think of amazing landscape, great weather and most importantly - wine and vineyards!
8. Vietnam & Cambodia
These two countries really fascinate me and I would love to travel through both of them - see the culture, the beautiful beaches and try their amazing food! And also to stay on the stunning Koh Rong island..
9. Scotland
When someone says Scotland, I instantly think of breathtaking castles and incredible landscapes. Did you know there has been over 2000 castles in Scotland, although many are known only through historical records.
10. Marrakech
It’s crazy that I can see Africa from my terrace, but I still haven’t got around to travelling there. But I would love to visit Marrakech and also Casablanca. And some of my favourite hotels there are the Amanjena Resort (that is where they also shot The Sex & The City 2) as well as the gorgeous Riad Yasmine.
