First of all I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and happy holidays! For the first time ever, I spent Christmas in Marbella, instead of Estonia, where I'm originally from. We got a real Christmas Tree already in the beginning of December and it has made our home look so festive and pretty! I'm so happy that I manage to convince my family to fly over to Spain to spend these holidays with us on the sunny coast. The weather has been amazing - 18 degrees, sunny every day! We also spent two days before Christmas in Seville in Santa Cruz Apartments. I will write more about it in my next blog post!
We also had my boyfriend's parents and his English granparents over for the Christmas dinner and here's a sneak peak of what we ate and how we decorated the house. My boyfriend was in charge of the main course, which was a Jamie Oliver style Lamb with vegetables. As for the starters, I got some inspiration from Pinterest as always! Check out my Food board to find amazing ideas and recipes. We made delicious Mozzarella-Chorizo-Rucola Canapes as well as Aubergine-Feta Cheese-Pomegranate snacks and the cutest one of all were the Mozzarella-Black Olive-Carrot Penguins! All the guests also received a Christmas Cracker and a fortune! I'm so pleased of how our little dinner party turned out, not only because of the lovely food and drinks and gifts we had, but also for the peaceful loving atmosphere we had! In the end Christmas is not a season, it's a feeling!
